Lesson cancellation and refund policy

The 48-hour cancellation policy: when you are entitled to a 100% refund or credit restitution.

Licinza 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

To be fair to both learners and self-employed driving instructors who reserve their working time, Licinza enforces a clear, automated 48-hour cancellation policy.

1. Cancellations with 48+ Hours Notice

If you cancel a lesson at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson start time:

100% Full Refund: For card or Klarna payments, the lesson fee is automatically refunded to your original payment method.
Credit Restitution: If booked using package credits, the hours are immediately restored to your balance.

2. Cancellations with Less Than 48 Hours Notice

If a lesson is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, the payment is non-refundable and package credits cannot be returned. This policy protects instructors who cannot fill an empty calendar slot at short notice.

How to Cancel a Lesson

Sign in and go to your Learner Dashboard.
Navigate to Lessons or Calendar.
Select the lesson and click Cancel Lesson. You will see a confirmation prompt detailing your refund status before you confirm.
